Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bengaluru-based company SASMOS to work together on advanced electronic, electrical and fiber optic interconnects in the aerospace field.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the two companies on March 11.
HAL’s subsidiary, Naini Aerospace Limited (NAeL), was also a signatory to the MoU, the SASMOS statement said.
“The MoU aims to explore business cooperation, particularly in North India, through the use of NAeL’s capacity and capabilities to bring their expertise in fiber optics, electronics and interconnected power system in the aerospace domain thanks to the support of HAL and SASMOS”, he added.
Under the MoU, HAL and SASMOS “will work together in the field of advanced electronics, electrical interconnects and fiber optics in the aerospace field”, he said.
